This quiet 1,400 sq. ft. 2-story home has 2-bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and is ideal for 1 or 2 couples, or for a family of 4. Perfect for honeymooners! It is situated to take advantage of the unparalleled beauty and recreational opportunities of Kauai. (see aerial views)
Upstairs:
Enter the villa on the 2nd floor which features the living room, kitchen, dining area, half-bath, and a covered lanai. Comfortable tropical-style furniture reflects the beauty of the surroundings which can be seen from 16 windows. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all new major appliances, and all the small appliances and cookware that make food preparation a breeze. An herb garden in the back yard is available for those finishing touches on your cullinary creations, and an electric grill is conveniently located on the covered lanai, a wonderful place to enjoy meals, sip tropical drinks, and daydream. A 37-inch flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD player, a large selection of Kauai sightseeing books, and a collection of movies filmed on Kauai are available for your entertainment. A huge ceiling fan helps to circulate the ever-present trade winds.
Downstairs:
The lower floor has 2 bedrooms, and 2 full baths, a full-capacity washer and dryer,folding area, and tiled lanai. The spacious main bedroom features a private bath with tub and shower, king size bed, and large walk-in closet. All linens are hotel-quality. Exit the sliding glass doors from the main bedroom to the lanai and enjoy lush tropical foliage and fragrant breezes while sitting in a hanging basket swing. The 2nd bedroom features 2 extra-long twin beds. A joiner kit is available for converting the twins to a king bed, or call ahead and it can be done in advance of your arrival. A bathroom, with shower stall, is adjacent to the 2nd bedroom. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The luxurious Princeville Hotel** , a 5-minute walk from the villa, features entertainment, shopping, and fine dining. Walk to 3 beaches or drive to the many gorgeous beaches on the island. The beach at the Princeville Hotel, open to the public, is a short walk down a paved trail and offers excellent snorkeling, kayaking, people-watching and sun bathing. Enjoy sleeping to the sounds of gentle trade winds rustling through tropical palms; enjoy the splendor of glorious sunrises, sunsets, rainbows and waterfalls. **The Princeville Hotel, closed for renovation, is scheduled to re-open October 2009. The beautiful beach at the hotel remains open to the public. Access to the beach via steps behind the hotel is open. The Makai golf course, also under renovation, is scheduled to re-open January 2010.
